The Dream is Over as Christina Milian and The Dream SPLIT UP!!!

Looks like Christina Milian is getting a wake-up call: News of her split from record producer husband Terius 'The-Dream' Nash hit the Web on Monday, on the heels of some scandalous photos of Nash getting cozy with another woman.

"[Nash] is saddened to announce that his marriage to Christina Milian was unsuccessful. The couple reached this decision in late 2009, but decided to keep the news private in efforts to protect their baby daughter Violet," the producer's rep said in a statement to Us Weekly.

The pair were engaged in July 2009, with a Las Vegas wedding ceremony close behind on Sept. 4. News that Milian was pregnant with Violet hit just a week after they said "I do."

"The pregnancy was a surprise, but they were getting married regardless," a source told Us at the time.

Though the separation is nothing new to Milian, perhaps photos of Nash frolicking on the beach with Melissa Santiago -- reportedly his personal assistant -- were, in a word, revealing.








Milian took to her Twitter account, first with the message "Whatever you think...believe it." About five hours later, she offered up what we think is one of the best official statements ever:

"Ugh."

If we can offer Milian any solace, she and Nash -- who's responsible for such hits as Beyonce's "Single Ladies," Rihanna's "Umbrella" and Mariah Carey's "Touch My Body" -- reportedly have no prenuptial agreement.
